I have experience of club nights and ran a lot of these sets for my past radio shows in the format of the latest downloads show with commentary. Everybody loves classic sing alongs of course but the latest fresh music downloads adds extra depth.
As a full open format DJ there is no combination I can't mix and prepared sets are often practiced carefully depending on the event scale. Would you like underground, bass music, garage, DNB and alternative sounds? No problem!!

I'm of the opinion that freestyle sets work well, now I have the deep experience of the music available to me currently in playlist. However on a mainstage where face to the audience is important, that side would be prepared in an order for the best performance.
